We finally did it. A decade in the making.
We are the new stewards of 12+ acres of the Thomas J Potts land allotment circa 1846. The oak trees are older than Texas and the land is full of history and family ties.
We. Are. So. Blessed.
Thank you to all of our loyal Golmon Bros customers (and crew!) that kept us in business for nearly a decade. We wouldn’t be where we are without you.
Small business can be hard, but not nearly as hard when you have a big community. We’re grateful for the relationships we built during those years. When one chapter ends another begins and you are all a permanent part of our story.
Thank you to our Gary Ave neighbors who were surely entertained by the homeschooled feral children and revolving ‘side yard zoo’. All of the passersby who admired or inquired about rabbits, sunflowers and the like helped me know that my passion is to help people sow their own homestead seeds.
Thank you to the seller of this property for reading our letter, Facebook researching our family photos and finally agreeing to sell us your family land after our 3rd offer. When it’s meant to be, it’ll be y’all.
Thank you Riverfront Farmers Market for the opportunity to market to the people and thank you to all of my Sow Texas cinnamon roll fanatics for your consistent support! You helped us reach the goal that much faster!
Thank you 1701 Barbecue for allowing Jake the opportunity to build confidence in what he loves to do. Real food, by local people is what it’s all about!
Thanks to all of my friends who encouraged me when I thought (and cried) that this dream would never happen. I love you.
Thank you my sweet angel babies for being my ride along construction crew, job clean-up helpers, recipe testers and cheerleaders. WE have worked so hard for this!
It’s so scary to share a dream, especially with your kids, when you don’t actually know if it will ever come true.
Above all else, thank you to the Creator for designing the natural world to be the ultimate guide to life and relationship.
Nature is an open book, you just have to take the time to read her.
My spirit is overflowing with gratitude.
